IDROBASE 303 is a fast, rapid wet, oil-water repellent, anti-salt, anti-mold, water-based, single-component treatment for medium and high porosity building materials of various kinds.

It forms an ‘excellent barrier on the surface against dirt of aqueous and oily origin.

IDROBASE 303 is a depth and surface preservative, dustproof, non-film-forming product. It manages to penetrate deep into building materials by protecting them from absorbing water and the mineral salts it carries, leaving the materials fully breathable.

The product dramatically reduces the absorption of liquid, oily or greasy substances and does not change the natural exterior appearance of terracotta and natural stone, making it easy to clean with simple products and techniques.

HOW TO USE IT?

Apply to a clean and perfectly dry, at most slightly damp surface with a spreader, shorthaired roller, paintbrush or low-pressure spray and wait 24 hours before applying the resin/wax treatment.

For outdoor protection, it is recommended, after the initial washing of the surface, to wait two to three days for the surface to be almost dry and apply the product in 2-3 coats spaced 3-4 hours apart.

The oil-water repellent protective capacity is obtained after 24/48 hours and depending on the amount of coats applied.

When dry, remove any excess product from the marble, using a soft, dry cloth with a single brush equipped with felts until the treated surface is restored to its original luster. No surplus of IDROBASE 303 product is to be removed from rough surfaces, example: terracotta, earthenware and natural stone of non-glossy type.

INDICATIVE YIELD:

For natural stone: about 8 to 12 liters per 100 square meters per coat, depending on the porosity of the material.
For terracotta and very porous terracotta: about 12 to 15 liters per 100 sq. m. per coat.
For mechanical terracotta: about 10 to 12 liters per 100 square meters per coat.
