LITHOS Solvent-based depth repellent, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use 1LT or 5LT -FEDERCHEMICALS
It protects stone material for many years, resists UV rays and does not yellow treated surfaces.
LITHOS has an high water-repellent penetration capacity in stone materials and for all absorbent building surfaces, such as marble, granite, travertine, natural stone, terracotta, agglomerates, grit, cement.
LITHOS water repellent reduces rising damp from the substrate and water absorption. It inhibits the formation of mold and algae. Repels the attachment of stains from atmospheric pollution, allowing easy cleanup afterwards.
LITHOS allows the treated material good breathability forexcellent resistance to weathering, sunlight and acid rain.
The product does not yellow and has a shelf life of more than 10 years.
HOW TO USE IT?
Before using LITHOS it is necessary to do a basic cleaning. Afterwards, LITHOS can be applied with a brush or roller, distributing the product abundantly and evenly in 1/2 coats 3-4 hours apart.
For possible application to vertical surfaces, we recommend the airless spray system by dispensing the product in 2 coats a few hours apart on dry surfaces, and outdoors expect it not to rain for at least 2 days after application.LITHOS is then suitable for application on the back of marble with any compatible cement-based adhesive with the following characteristics: C2ES1; C2TES1; C2ES2; C2TES2.The product should not be thinned.
Never apply LITHOS water repellent in full sunlight. Always do a small sample test on a surface to check for any color changes in the material.
INDICATIVE RENDERING
On very absorbent natural stone about 10 to 12 liters per 100 square meters per coat.
On medium-porous natural stone about 5 to 10 liters per 100 square meters per coat.
On concrete about 12 to 15 liters per 100 square meters per coat always depending on the absorption of the type of material.
